  • Velocity Scheduler (vsched) was developed at CTC.
  • vsched is used to provide access to computing resources, and is in fact the only way to access the compute nodes.
  • There are currently no interactive compute nodes (though you can work on a node interactively after you have obtained the node through the batch system).
  • The same scheduler is used on CTC's Windows and Linux systems.
