Velocity Scheduler (vsched) was developed at CTC.
vsched is used to provide access to computing resources, and is in fact the
only
way to access the compute nodes.
There are currently no interactive compute nodes (though you can work on a node interactively
after
you have obtained the node through the batch system).
The same scheduler is used on CTC's Windows and Linux systems.
