Choosing the Affiliation

Which affiliations can I use?

In the xml file you will need to specify which batch pool, or affiliation you want to run on.

Which affiliations are free right now?

To find out, use the vsched -affiliations command.

What is the wait on a given queue?

To find out, use the vsched -queue command. Remember, jobs are run first-in, first-out, with backfilling.

Which affiliations can I use?

All users have access to the nodes in the table below. Find the full details about these and other types of nodes on the resources page. Note that charging is equal for the different processor types; an hour of time on a serial node "costs" the same as an hour of time on a v3 node.
